At Country Cottage Children’s Center, our mission is to provide children and families with the highest quality early education and care in a nurturing, respectful, and inspiring environment.

We believe that childhood is a unique and valuable stage of life. Our program supports each child’s natural curiosity, creativity, and love of learning through meaningful relationships, thoughtful environments, and hands-on experiences.

We are committed to creating a warm community where children feel safe, capable, and valued while developing the skills and confidence they need to grow.


Our Philosophy

Country Cottage Children’s Center serves children ages 2 years 9 months through 6 years of age in our preschool program and kindergarten through sixth grade in our school-age program.

Our educational approach is a blend of several respected early childhood philosophies, including Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, the Curiosity Approach, Hygge, and Mulberry House.

These approaches guide our program in meaningful ways:

• Children learn best through hands-on exploration and discovery
• Learning is driven by curiosity, play, and children’s interests

We follow an emergent curriculum, meaning our learning experiences evolve based on children’s interests, questions, and discoveries.

Our goal is to meet each child where they are in their journey and support their growth socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.
